A Seamless Transformation, Executed with Precision
When Sleep Number needed to upgrade its Ridge Hill Mall location to reflect its premium brand, they trusted Tri-State Installations to manage the entire retrofit. The mission was clear: deliver a flawless new store experience with maximum speed and efficiency.
Phase 1: Strategic Off-Hours Execution (Sun-Mon)
Our team began work the moment the store closed on Sunday evening, ensuring no impact on Sleep Number’s business hours. This phase involved a swift demolition of old fixtures and flooring, followed by the overnight installation of a new, premium carpet to set a modern foundation for the build. Throughout the process, our crew took meticulous care to protect all of the client’s valuable furnishings and bedding.
Phase 2: Expert Carpentry and Major Installation (Mon-Wed)
With the new floor in place, our master carpenters took charge. We expertly handled all wall modifications, including structural blocking for new cabinetry to ensure a secure, lasting installation. By Wednesday morning, all major cabinetry, trim, and headboards were installed. The project’s centerpiece, the complex IFIT Canopy, was skillfully assembled, wired, and mounted—creating an impressive and functional focal point for the showroom.
Phase 3: Meticulous Finishing and Graphic Installation (Thu-Fri)
With the construction complete, our focus shifted to the critical finishing details. Our team meticulously positioned each bed and cabinet according to the design plan, preparing the space for immediate merchandising. A thorough cleaning and touch-up process ensured every surface was pristine. We then installed all brand graphics, including the Bedding Design Lab and new Point-of-Sale (POS) displays, bringing the store’s new identity to life.
Phase 4: Client Walkthrough and Final Sign-Off (Sat)
Early Saturday morning, before the doors opened to the public, we conducted a final walkthrough with the client and the store manager. In partnership with their team, we reviewed every element against the project plans to ensure a zero-defect handover. Following a comprehensive review, the project was fully approved and signed off, officially returning the transformed space to a satisfied client, ready for business.
